When you buy a proxy, the country you select determines the location requested for your IP. This article explains how to choose a location, change it after purchase, and interpret different IP-location results.

Select the country that matches your legitimate business or testing requirement. Country selection is available during checkout, subject to stock. For a specific city or state, contact support before ordering; availability depends on the product and current inventory.

Choose Any only when a specific country is not required. On rotating packages, it can provide access to a wider available pool, but availability still changes over time.

If the location you need is not listed, choose a suitable available alternative or ask support whether it can be supplied.

Static proxies may be changed to another location when stock permits.

IP-location services use different databases, which can be outdated or inconsistent. The same IP can therefore appear differently across checkers. A discrepancy does not by itself prove that a proxy was assigned incorrectly.

Compare several reputable lookup tools. If the discrepancy affects your legitimate use case, contact support with the IP and the checker results so the team can investigate or offer a replacement where appropriate.

At checkout, choose the Purpose that most closely matches your intended use. A purpose helps us route an order correctly; it is not a guarantee that a third-party website or platform will accept an IP.
