Can I use the same proxies for different websites/tools?

Article describes how to use proxies for different purposes

Written by Alex Krasnov

We cannot guarantee you the same proxy package to work for all websites/tools because different sites use different algorithms to identify proxies.

For example, while PrivateProxy.me proxies may work for platforms like PayPal or Shopify, they are not guaranteed to function universally across all platforms. Additionally, some platforms, such as survey sites like Swagbucks and Freecash, are explicitly not supported.

Please pick one website/tool you need proxies for during the order process and select it in the Purpose field.

We will provide you with proxies for that one in your current package. For another website/tool, you can always make a new order.

Platform-Specific Proxy Recommendations

  • PayPal: PrivateProxy.me proxies can work with PayPal, but it is advisable to use proxies explicitly designed for PayPal to ensure compatibility and performance.

  • Shopify and Google Ads: While these proxies may work for Shopify and Google Ads, purchasing a proxy package specifically designed for these platforms is recommended to increase the likelihood of success.

  • Survey Platforms: PrivateProxy.me proxies do not work for survey websites or platforms like Swagbucks and Freecash. They cannot bypass restrictions on such sites.

  • Stripe and Amazon: For platforms like Stripe and Amazon, it is recommended to use separate proxies tailored to each platform. Using one proxy per account or platform ensures better performance and reduces the risk of issues.

Best Practices for Proxy Management

  1. Choose Platform-Specific Proxies: Always select proxies tailored to the platform you intend to use them for.

  2. Use One Proxy Per Account: Avoid using the same proxy for multiple accounts or platforms to minimize risks.

  3. Consult Support: If unsure about compatibility, consult PrivateProxy.me support for guidance on selecting the right proxy package.
