How can I set up your proxy service on Chrome and Other Browsers?

This article describes how to configure Google Chrome to use our proxies

To get started with FoxyProxy, install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Simply search for "FoxyProxy," click "Add to Chrome," and confirm the installation. It is also available for Firefox, making it a versatile choice for users of major browsers.

We suggest a FREE FoxyProxy extension for all major browsers(Chrome, Firefox, Safari and etc) For users who prefer not to use FoxyProxy, proxy credentials can also be pasted directly into the browser or application's native proxy settings. Most browsers, including Chrome, allow you to configure proxies directly through their settings. Here's how to do it in Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to Settings.

  2. Scroll down and click on Advanced to expand additional options.

  3. Under the "System" section, select Open your computer's proxy settings.

  4. In the proxy settings window that opens, enter the required proxy details, such as IP address, port, username, and password, if applicable.

  5. Save your changes and restart the browser if necessary.

Click on Proxies > Add to create a new proxy profile, or navigate to the "Options" section depending on your browser version.

After that, give the proxy a name and insert all the credentials in the format: IP:Port:Username:Password. You may use HTTP/SOCKS5 for static proxies and HTTP for rotating packages. Additionally, provide a Display Name for your proxy profile to easily identify it later.

Save and pick your proxy by clicking Foxyproxy extension icon to the right from your URL.

Visit a website to confirm that your proxy is working correctly. This step ensures that the proxy settings have been applied successfully. Additionally, ensure that your proxy credentials are accurate and consider using a reliable proxy provider for consistent performance. If the proxy fails to connect, double-check the IP, port, username, and password. Ensure that the selected protocol matches the proxy type provided by your service. Restart your browser or reinstall the extension if issues persist. If using a proxy for specific websites, configure rules in the extension to apply the proxy only to those sites.
